St George's Hill Lawn Tennis Club

St. George’s Hill Lawn Tennis Club is based at the heart of the prestigious estate in Surrey. Originally established in 1913 club facilities include lawn, indoor and outdoor tennis, squash courts, a heated indoor swimming pool and state of the art health and fitness facilities along with a boutique spa.

Our team have worked along side the club’s senior management and committee for over 15 years, establishing and maintaining a successful business partnership.

The kitchen and reception areas of STGTC has been the most recent assignments Lektron have undertaken. Working in harmony with the main contractor our team have designed and installed new lighting schemes to accompany each significant area’s demands. A new 3 phase distribution system was installed to accommodate the kitchen’s requirements. As part of the ongoing improvements at the club our team have designed and commissioned a new CCTV system for the whole grounds controlled from the recently refurbished reception area. The reception service also required new mains distribution and network points. All DDA and panic alarms needed repositioning.

An out of hours service for STG was also provided to enable a smooth and seamless transition between old and redundant services being removed and providing the new bespoke and modern services to the club.

Regular client interface ensured that budgets and deadlines were achieved, ensuring maximum satisfaction for the client.

Solutions for Success

Working closely with the management committee to ensure normal services were available for members at all times each phase of works had to be carefully time managed to avoid any disruptions to normal service. To overcome the technical and logistical challenges this provided, together with maintaining members’ safety, considerable amounts of the project were competed out of normal hours.

The project was delivered on time for the successful centenary ball.
